How AJHCS protects author rights and ensures open access to published research.
Authors retain full copyright of their work. AJHCS does not require authors to transfer copyright. By submitting to AJHCS, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the work under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY 4.0).
All articles published in AJHCS are licensed under CC-BY 4.0. Under this license, anyone may:
Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercially.
You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
Each published article displays its license information on the article page. The CC-BY 4.0 license applies to the published content of articles, including text, figures, and tables created by the authors.
Any third-party content (images, data, or other materials) included within articles may be subject to different licensing terms as noted by the authors in the article. Users should check individual articles for any such notices before reusing third-party content.
These copyright and licensing terms apply specifically to the scholarly articles and content published by AJHCS. They are separate from the website's general Terms of Service, which govern your use of the ajhcs.org platform, user accounts, and other non-article features.
