In 2023, I completed my fellowship, and it was amazing experience. As a fellow, I served as the Project Manager for implementing a new musculoskeletal service line for a Wisconsin health system partner. Additionally, I worked as an interim Market Transformation Analyst, contributing to process improvements for a diverse portfolio of 10 organizations. My role involved extracting and analyzing complex healthcare data and creating executive-level presentations for Quality Improvement initiatives. At first, I think understanding the unique value proposition that HOPCo offers to its partners was somewhat complex, as they are the only company in the country so vertically integrated with musculoskeletal physician practices and health systems. What was really valuable was being able to sit down and talk with leadership teams and having them be so flexible to my questions and desire to learn more about the mission and vision of the organization.
